My $7 investment in horse story paperbacks last week turned into $96 this week. Last summer I bought a set of 20 some hardback books with dustjackets from the 40's, 50's and 60's. They were horse stories, I think 10 were Black Stallion books by Walter Farley. There were Golden Stallion and some pony books. I paid $1 each and sold them all for over $200 when it was all said and done. Pick up those horse stories when you see them, if they are in good condition. No one wants a ratty old book!

That's quite a profit, Kate! Those deals must make you grin ear-to-ear!
